"After many years of teaching Spanish, I am convinced that there is no age limit to learning a language. The most important things are enthusiasm and a desire to learn, as well as a good sense of humour."
Raúl is the founder and managing director of Learn Spanish Away. He has been teaching Spanish as a foreign language since 1995, first in London and Birmingham in the UK, and then in Granada, Spain. He has considerable experience of teaching Spanish to adults, professionals and undergraduates having worked at Queen Mary, University of London and after that at the University of Birmingham, in their Centre for Modern Languages and also at the Brasshouse Language Centre in Birmingham.
In addition to his wide experience, he is well qualified to teach the language, having studied Filología Hispánica at the University of Salamanca, as well as having good professional training in language teaching methodology through courses and workshops at the University of Salamanca and the University of Birmingham.
Raúl's experience has given him the opportunity to teach people with a wide variety of levels and ages, and he always structures lessons according to the levels and needs of each individual and group.
